You have always dreamt of your job. You did almost everything just to get the job you have right now. But, like any love affair the flare is or has already burnout. Everyday has become a robotic activity. No more passion. You aren’t happy anymore. And now you are asking, where did all the love go?
It is important to make every day an exciting day when you go to work. The excitement must be maintained even after working for five years. This is not only for you but also for your company and for you to be more effective. You can do this by recalling the feeling you first felt on you first day. Recall the reasons why you applied for the job and why did you get it.
Also, begin your day with the right foot. Be optimistic and, like in loving, feel the good vibes that your partner or in this case your job has to offer. Begin your day loving and smiling. Do not think of your job as a boring routine which helps you feed yourself but instead do it because you know this is what you want.
Now, supplement yourself with the things you will need to fall in love again with your job. You need to be physically prepared. As much as possible, sleep early and get and eight hour sleep and rest. In the morning, do a little bit of exercise and do not skip breakfast. Remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Do this with the feeling of your first day on your job.
Choose the dress you think you would be wearing on your first day. Pay attention of the details just like your very first day at work. Properly groom your self to be more pleasing and appealing to your boss, coworkers, and clients.
Get motivated. Be with the people whom you know are your friends. Also, take time to know them better by eating or dining with them. Having friends or being with the people you like can be a motivation to keep yourself loving your job again. Having a circle can also give you more reasons to get up in the morning and do your job effectively with them.
At the end of the day, keep track of your accomplishments. In this manner, you will be more motivated to do better and finish tasks on time. Also, make a list of what you have learned and what you want to learn to keep that working flare up.
Love your job all over again and try to live to it everyday with these simple tips.
